J'Zone is for young people from 0 - 18 years.
A typical session includes Bible stories, songs, music, games and other activities to help children find out about God's love for themselves and to form a friendship with Jesus.
The children gather in groups - Sonflowerz (0 - 3 yrs), Scramblers (3 - 5 yrs), Climbers (5 - 7 yrs) and Explorers (7 - 9, 9 - 11 yrs), Pathfinders (11 - 14 yrs), Y10+ (15+ yrs) - led by adults who are committed Christians. The groups are based on the school year age groupings. Children move between groups in the September of each year, following the school pattern.
J'Zone meets on Sunday mornings during the morning service (except for the first Sunday in the month when the service is All Age Worship). The young people and their leaders spend the first 20 minutes or so in church with the adults before moving to the adjacent modern building for their activities. We also provide 'Fidget Bags' for younger children to use while we are all together in the main church. Please take one from near the south door or ask a sidesman to show you. When it is time for the children to leave for J'Zone, this will be announced by the person taking the service. If you and your children are new to St Andrew's we ask that you fill in a consent form and give any special details about your child(ren) to the leader of the group. When the adult service has finished, please immediately collect your child(ren) and ensure that the group leader knows they are back in your care.
J'Zone also holds special events on other days through the year.

A team of adults take turns to provide activities, songs and refreshments for the youngsters. Children see Jesus' love in the care they receive from the adults.
We believe that it is really important to pray for our younger church members. Childhood and teenage years are a crucial time in a person's spiritual journey. We long for our young people to come to know Jesus for themselves and to grow in their relationship with Him.
Prayer Buddies promise to pray for their allocated young people at least once a week. Sometimes it helps to contact the young person, via their parents, to find out more specific prayer requests but this is not obligatory. The young person may also choose to contact their Prayer Buddy with specific prayer needs, especially useful at exam time! The adults may also choose to send birthday cards and get to know the young people whenever possible.
STAK (St Andrew's Kids) is led by the Children's Minister, Tim Blake. STAK has its own website and blog.
St Andrew's has a Child Protection Policy (160kb), based on the guidelines (1.7Mb) issued by the Diocese of Ely.
